Katie Gibbons is the eldest daughter of partner, E. Lynn Gibbons. Katie has always had a calling for the law as she was born while her mother was still in law school. As a young girl in elementary school, Katie routinely reminded her Mom of the date, "Take Your Daughters To Work Day," was on the calendar. Some of her fondest childhood memories are of attending court hearings, mediations and depositions at Lynn’s side through the years.

She first started working at Jorgensen & Gibbons, P.A. in the file room in 2006, when she was only 12 years old. Katie graduated from St. Petersburg Catholic High School in 2012 andshe earned a B.A. degree, Magna Cum Laude, in psychology from the University of South Florida in 2014. At the age of 20, she worked for a year as the workers’ compensation paralegal at the firm. Since day one, she has treated the firm's clients as if they were family.

In the Fall of 2015, she followed in her Mom's footsteps and started law school at Stetson University College of Law – right down the street from the firm. Thisallowed her to continue working part-time for the firm the entire time she was in school. She earned her J.D. from Stetson in December of 2017 – graduating a semester early. Today, Katie works as an Associate Attorney for Jorgensen Gibbons, P.A., handling workers' compensation, personal injury and social security disability cases. On the weekends she’s likely on the water or in the stands cheering on her Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
